The activism committee is a devoted group of students who are looking to make change in their own lives, the Boston College community, and beyond. Eco activism engages with social and political campaigns and issues to reduce human harm to the environment. Examples of events we hold and attend include protests in and around Boston, working with BC dining on sustainability goals, and making infographics to break down pressing issues of environmental justice for the communities in which we live. We would love for you to join us!
Why we're here
The EcoPledge Activism Committee was created in the hopes of bringing greater intersectionality to our organization and to meet the growing interest of students in political involvement. We are a group of dedicated and passionate students, using our voices as a means of grassroots advocacy on our campus, in our community, and in the country.
Our Mission
BC’s EcoPledge Activism Committee is dedicated to using our voices to create a better future for the planet and the people who live on it. This means addressing sustainability and social justice issues on campus and in our wider communities. Through education, awareness, and intentional activism, we will leave our planet better than we found it.
